This year Jess and I upped our Holiday photo skills from last year’s photos. With the proper amount of time to prepare, I’m on a mission to get my cards out on time, and decided to go the postcard route. Inspired by a few photos I found online, I purchased some small gift boxes and candy canes as props from target. I also found a “Merry Christmas” banner on Amazon that we used for the shoot. Given the short amount of time we had this morning (about 15 minutes), I’m excited to have gotten the shots we needed and share them with you! For the full album head to the album on my Facebook page here.
Before taking the postcards to print, I did a small amount of editing in photoshop to drop in a “Merry Christmas” logo and created the backside of the postcard with an additional photo that shows our faces even better.
Even with rush delivery, 50 postcards through Overnight Prints, came out to less than $25! I’m excited to share the final product, and can’t wait to send them out next week to our friends and family.
Happy holidays everyone!
